A global manufacturer of Factory Automation, Sensors and IIoT solutions, helping customers across a wide range of industries. The candidate will have ideally sold industrial automation and control products (Sensors, HMIs, Drives, Machine Safety, Metrology, Switchgear etc).
The External Sales Engineer role will involve developing relationships with new and existing customers such as OEMs and Machine builders across a varied range of industries including Food & Beverage, FMCG, Packaging, End of Line machinery, Pharmaceuticals, and Utilities.
Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a Sales Team, performing joint visits from time to time.
- Maintain a company CRM system with contact information, sales opportunity information and activity information.
- Display a technical understanding of the company's products and services to new and existing customers.
- Organise sales visits, product demonstrations and reference visits.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Sales, Engineering, or Consulting.
- Strong written, verbal, and collaboration skills.
Required Skills:
- Analytical mindset, team player, strong leadership skills, cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred Skills:
