The Goods Receiver is responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and recording all deliveries to ensure quality, quantity, and compliance with the F&B department standards. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory integrity and supporting smooth kitchen and service operations.

Working hours for the role will be 6.00am - 2.00pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accept and sign for incoming goods from suppliers
  • Verify delivery notes against purchase orders for accuracy
  • Check the condition, quality, and expiry dates of all food and beverage items
  • Report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues immediately
  • Maintain accurate logs of received goods in inventory systems
  • Ensure proper filing of delivery notes and invoices
  • Label and store goods according to safety and hygiene standards
  • Rotate stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) method
  • Follow food safety regulations and HACCP guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in receiving and storage areas
  • Manage the back door entrance
  • Manage all stationary orders

Experience:

  • Previous experience in goods receiving or inventory control (preferred)

Work Conditions:

  • Ability to work early mornings, or weekends depending on business needs
  • Candidates must be able to demonstrate they have the Right to Work in the UK at interview stage
  • Due to Gambling Regulations, all applicants must be over the age of 18
