As a Senior Compliance Officer, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the integrity, reputation, and operational excellence of Wynn Mayfair. You will support the Head of Compliance & MLRO in ensuring that the organisation maintains full and continuous compliance with all Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF), and Safer Gambling (SG) regulatory requirements, as well as Wynn’s own internal standards, policies, and ethical commitments. This includes contributing to the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of robust compliance frameworks designed to protect the business, its guests, and its employees.

Daily Operations
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and training programmes
- Provide expert advice on compliance risks, regulatory obligations, and industry best practices
- Conduct internal audits, thematic reviews, and compliance monitoring activities
- Act as a key point of contact for internal teams needing compliance guidance
- Support the MLRO with the maintenance and continual improvement of AML/CTF frameworks
- Conduct and review customer due diligence (CDD), enhanced due diligence (EDD), Source of Wealth (SoW), Source of Funds (SoF), and affordability assessments
- Monitor transactional activity and escalate concerns appropriately
- Prepare information for suspicious activity reports (SARs) for the MLRO
- Maintain accurate AML records and ensure documentation integrity
- Identify high-risk behaviours using customer data, behavioural indicators, and SG tools
- Assist in reviewing and maintaining safer gambling policies in line with UK Gambling Commission requirements
- Support SG-related customer interactions, escalations, and interventions
- Promote a culture of responsible gambling across the business
- Conduct risk assessments, gap analyses, and vulnerability reviews
- Keep updated on legislation, regulatory changes, and industry developments.
Additional Information
Wynn Mayfair operates 7 days a week. Shifts typically range from 11 AM to 3 AM, but flexibility is required to accommodate business needs. Candidates must be able to demonstrate they have the Right to Work in the UK at interview stage. Due to Gambling Regulations, all applicants must be over the age of 18.
