We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Sprinkler Fitter to join a busy construction project in Shrewsbury for ongoing work starting Monday. The role will involve working on sprinkler systems, mainly using plastic pipework and fittings within fire suppression systems on site. We are ideally looking for candidates with sprinkler fitting experience, however we are also open to speaking with candidates who have experience in:
- Fire suppression systems
- Pipework installation
- Mechanical installation work
- Commercial plumbing / pipefitting backgrounds
Duties Include:
- Installation of sprinkler systems and associated pipework
- Working mainly with plastic sprinkler pipe systems
- Measuring, cutting, and fitting pipework
- Assisting with fire suppression installations
- Reading and following site drawings and instructions
- Ensuring work is completed safely and to site standards
- Working effectively as part of a site team
Requirements:
- Previous sprinkler fitting / fire suppression / pipework installation experience preferred
- CSCS Card preferred
- Own tools and PPE advantageous
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to start immediately
- Comfortable working on a live construction site
