We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven
Room Sales Manager-Corporate to join our Sales & Marketing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing corporate accounts, driving room revenue, and building long-term relationships with key business partners.
This role plays a vital part in achieving the hotel's occupancy and revenue targets while ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve room revenue and occupancy goals. Identify, prospect, and secure new corporate business opportunities.
- Manage and grow existing corporate accounts through regular client engagement and relationship management.
- Conduct sales calls, client meetings, room presentations, and site inspections.
- Negotiate corporate contracts and rate agreements in line with the hotel's revenue strategy.
- Collaborate closely with Revenue Management, Reservations, Front Office, and Marketing teams to maximize business opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by responding promptly to client requests and resolving issues professionally.
- Maintain accurate account information and sales activities within the relevant customer relationship system.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or at least a Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of hotel sales experience, with at least 2 years managing corporate accounts.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of the corporate travel market and hotel sales practices.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel sales systems platforms.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
