We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven

Assistant/ Events Sales Manager to join our team and drive revenue growth through corporate, social, and special events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities for meetings, conferences, weddings, social events, and corporate functions.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting and site inspections to contract negotiation and event confirmation.
  • Prepare customized event proposals, quotations, and contracts.
  • Coordinate with clients on event requirements and ensure all details are accurately communicated to the operations team.
  • Manage the event payment process, including collecting deposits and final payments according to the hotel's payment schedule, monitoring outstanding balances, and coordinating with the Finance team to ensure timely payment and accurate financial records.
  • Follow up with clients regarding payment deadlines and ensure all contractual payment terms are fulfilled before the event.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, travel partners, and local businesses.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets while maximizing event revenue.
  • Collaborate with the operations, banquet, culinary, and front office teams to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry functions to promote the hotel.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, event documentation, and reports using the hotel's system.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience in the hospitality or hotel industry, with a focus on events or banquet sales.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing business.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel sales systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, when required.
