Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking an Assistant Management Accountant EMEA to join our team in London, UK. Ready to turn numbers into insight and drive financial accuracy across a global business? We’re looking for a detail-driven, proactive accounting professional to join our EMEA Finance team. What you’ll be doing:
- Owning key parts of the month-end and quarterly close, including journal entries, reconciliations and financial statement reviews.
- Ensuring accurate accounting treatment in line with GAAP across multiple regional entities.
- Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting robust financial reporting.
- Supporting Accounts Payable activities, including invoice reviews, expense checks and payment runs.
- Preparing VAT returns and statutory reporting requirements.
- Playing a key role in audit cycles, preparing schedules and supporting audit requests.
- Assisting with the preparation of statutory financial statements.
- Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency across finance operations.
- Supporting projects and initiatives, including internal controls and technical accounting research.

What we’re looking for:
- Strong experience in month-end close, reconciliations and reporting.
- Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
- Experience with Accounts Payable processes.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong Excel skills, with working knowledge of Oracle and Hyperion (HFM) preferred.
- Confident communicator, able to work with internal and external stakeholders.

Your background:
- Studying towards or qualified in CIMA, ACCA or equivalent.

- Additional European languages are a plus, but not essential.
