The Revenue Manager is responsible for maximizing hotel revenue through the development and implementation of effective pricing and inventory strategies. The incumbent will conduct market analysis, forecasting, and competitive analysis to achieve financial goals. This role requires a deep understanding of market dynamics, guest behavior, and hotel operations to drive profitability and market share. The Revenue Manager will be targeted to meet or exceed budgeted ADR, RevPAR, RGI, total revenue, and GOP, in addition to employee engagement within the Revenue and Reservations Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and economic indicators to anticipate market changes and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Develop and execute revenue management strategies to optimize room revenue and market share.
- Utilize data analytics and business intelligence tools to make informed pricing decisions.
- Monitor and review inventory and rate control through different reports, such as booking pace, regrets, market segmentation, availability calendar, STR, rate check report etc.
- Develop annual revenue budgets and forecasts in collaboration with senior management and financial teams.
- Monitor performance against budget and forecast, adjusting as needed to achieve financial targets.
- Oversee distribution channels (e.g., OTAs, GDS, direct bookings) to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Lease with Wyndham’s Revenue and Distribution team to drive commercial opportunities.
- Evaluate channel performance and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms for the hotel.
- Analyze sales performance, booking patterns, and market segment data to identify revenue opportunities.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management outlining revenue performance and strategy effectiveness.
- Lead and mentor the reservations team fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
- Provide training and development opportunities to ensure hotel team are equipped with necessary skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align revenue strategies with overall business objectives.
- Monitor Hotel’s e-commerce strategies and online marketing plans.
- Communicate revenue management strategies and performance metrics effectively to stakeholders across the organization.

Background
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or related field (master’s degree preferred).
- 2 years proven experience in hotel revenue management.
- Proficiency in iDeas, or similar revenue management system.
- Proficiency in Opera Cloud and Microsoft office.
- Language requirement: English.
- Eligibility to work in UK.
