Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking an Intern Commercial Planning & Analysis EMEA to join our team in London, UK.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to work at the heart of Wyndham's Commercial team in EMEA. You will work closely with Commercial and Operations teams across EMEA, gaining exposure to all aspects of success in the hotel sector. It is a fun and challenging role, ideal for someone who loves variety and pushing themselves. You will have two key responsibilities: delivering commercial initiatives and developing reporting to provide actionable insights. Working independently but fully supported, you will lead projects and collaborate with fellow Interns up to Senior Leadership. Many initiatives will involve combining online distribution initiatives with driving revenue and contribution for franchisees. Ultimately, you will help maximise performance for Wyndham and our brands across EMEA by supporting the execution of Commercial Planning & Analysis initiatives related to Sales, Marketing, Distribution and Revenue Management.

Responsibilities
- Provide analytical support to Commercial and Operations teams by updating the current reporting suite designed to drive system contribution for our hotels. Make recommendations to improve reporting functionality, type of analysis and visual appearance to aid actionable outcomes that drive contribution.
- Drive revenue and engagement within Commercial and Operations teams by providing improvements to existing educational content, delivery and adoption across EMEA, based on analytical findings.
- Support the Manager Commercial Planning & Analysis EMEA to make strategic recommendations for promotional activity.
- End to end project management of assigned key initiatives determined by requirements of the Commercial team to achieve company goals. This includes regular reporting of progress and production of insightful reporting to evaluate success.
- Support the production of Business Review Meetings documents by providing insightful and relevant commercial data.
- Internship Group Project: All Interns are involved in a business-critical project during their internship.
- Employee Engagement Committee: All Interns support the committee in organising activities/initiatives under 3 pillars: People, Community and Sustainability.

Experience/Certificates/Education
- Studying towards a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Management, Strategic Management, Revenue Management, Business Intelligence or Hospitality Management, or studying towards an MBA is required.
- Previous experience in a commercial or analyst role either as a previous internship or as holiday work experience, preferably in hospitality is an advantage but not essential.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Other language skills are an advantage.
- Tableau, MS Office Suite and Database Management skills are an advantage.
- Knowledge of online distribution and travel technology is an advantage.
- Project management and organisation skills are critical.

Compensation & Benefits
- £25,875 gross per annum, prorated for the duration of the internship.
- 25 days of holidays per annum (accrued basis).
