Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking an Intern Global Sales – Group/MICE & Specialty EMEA to join our team in London, UK.
Job Summary
The Intern Group/MICE (Meetings, Incentive, Conferences & Events) & Specialty EMEA is part of the EMEA Global Sales (GSO) team and is responsible for a variety of administrative duties and projects, with a focus on working alongside our team in the Group/MICE & Specialty segment. Additional responsibilities may include working on reporting, supporting other segments in the GSO team as appropriate and when needed, and working individually or alongside other Interns from other corporate departments on business‑critical projects. Successful candidates must be able to provide proof of their right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities
- Manage Weekly and Monthly Tasks: Oversee recurring tasks, ensuring smooth communication with both internal and external parties.
- Client Request Management: Handle client requests across various sales segments, with a specific focus on Group/MICE & Specialty, assisting with lead management, reporting, and providing timely responses.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support for multi‑sales segments, including tracking and documentation of key activities.
- Sales Systems Usage: Utilize internal and external sales tools such as Salesforce Lightning, Cvent Transient, UpMail, and others, to support sales activities.
- Ad Hoc Responsibilities: Undertake ad hoc tasks as required by the business to ensure operational efficiency.
- Cover MICE Desk when they are on annual leave: Daily reporting, monitor the inbox and action the items that need to be logged in Salesforce, create Salesforce tasks for new requests, and folder the emails.
- Tradeshow & Event Coordination: Support and coordinate tradeshows and events, including logistics, communication, and follow‑up actions.
- Data & Content Management: Effectively manage data storage and updates on SharePoint. Maintain the accuracy of sales content, ensuring all materials are up‑to‑date and accessible.
- Marketing Collaboration: Collaborate with the Sales Operations Manager EMEA and the EMEA Marketing team to create or update marketing initiatives, collateral, and sales content, including monthly newsletters.
- Multi‑Segment Sales Support: Provide administrative support for multi‑sales segment projects and initiatives.
- Internship Group Project: All Interns are involved in a business‑critical project during their internship.
- Employee Engagement Committee: All Interns support the committee in organising activities/initiatives under 3 pillars: People, Community and Sustainability.

Experience / Education / Certificates
- Studying towards a Hospitality Management bachelor’s degree or above.
- Previous experience in a hospitality environment either in a previous internship or as a minimum, holiday work experience is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Other language skills are an advantage.
- MS Office Suite and Database Management would be helpful.
- Project management skills and high affinity towards data and technology would be helpful.
Organisational Relationships
The Intern Global Sales – Group/MICE & Specialty EMEA reports to the Director MICE & Specialist Sales EMEA.
ÂŁ25,875 gross per annum, prorated for the duration of the internship. 25 days of holidays per annum (accrued basis).
