Wymondham College Prep School is looking to appoint a highly committed, enthusiastic and compassionate individual who has an energy and interest in not only working with whole classes of children but also working with small groups of children and/or in a 1:2:1 capacity, intervening to close gaps in children’s subject knowledge and developing their basic skills.
Role overview: We are looking for a positive, caring and inspiring Teaching Assistant to join the team at Wymondham College Prep School on a permanent basis. The role will support and complement the professional work of teachers as directed.
What we are looking for:
- Have previous experience working with children, preferably primary school age, in a classroom or similar environment and have evidence of professional growth having received training in a range of different academic, SEND and social & emotional areas of child development;
- Be committed to the school’s high standards of teaching, learning and professional development;
- Be eager to learn, develop and grow in order to be an exceptional practitioner;
- Have excellent communication skills, a warm and caring disposition and a good sense of humour;
