About the Role

Are you a hands-on, skilled technician with a minimum of 5 years experience who enjoys installing industry leading equipment, solving problems on-site and remotely?

Wyma is looking for a Field Service Technician who is eligible to work in the UK and ready to take on a dynamic role supporting our customers.

You’ll travel to client sites both in the UK and internationally, installing, maintaining, and servicing automated vegetable washing and processing lines.

This is a hands-on technical role that offers variety, independence, and the opportunity to work closely with an experienced After Sales team while building your technical expertise.

Includes opportunities for training and personal skill development.

  • What You\'ll Do
  • Provide technical support and service to Wyma customers.
  • Manage warranty claims following our After Sales process.
  • Install equipment and production lines in the UK, Ireland, and overseas.
  • Configure basic components (frequency converters, sensors)
  • Perform basic electro-mechanical assembly
  • Assemble equipment and components according to technical drawings.
  • Conduct inspections and prepare detailed reports with recommendations.
  • Ensure customer equipment operates safely and efficiently.
  • Perform on-site commissioning and setup of equipment to ensure it operates at peak performance. (Training on specific equipment and line solutions will be provided)

Skills and Qualifications

  • Reliability, diligence, and strong team spirit.
  • Mechanical qualification or previous experience in a similar industry and automated equipment required.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Active driving license (Group B). Forklift license is a plus.
  • Good physical fitness.
  • Electrical certification is an advantage.
  • Welding certificate or welding knowledge is an advantage.
  • Strong manual skills: mechanical, grinding, welding, drilling, milling, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Flexible and able to travel for work, including trips of up to 3 weeks.
  • Right to work in the UK (required).
