About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced, skilled, professional and reliable decking and cladding installer to join our business. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our team, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest of standards. We are approved installers for leading manufacturers in the UK, working with their premium products, so the quality of our work is extremely important. We are looking for someone that is motivated, has a professional manner, thinks outside the box and has good attention to detail. This role requires a minimum of 3 years' experience as an installer using a range of materials such as composite, timber, plastic and aluminium. Most of our work is in Hampshire, Sussex and Surrey so the ideal candidate must be prepared to travel to the surrounding counties from our base in Waterlooville. Candidates will need to commute to our base every morning as all vehicles are provided to and from here. Please note - we work in all weather conditions unless it is not safe to do so.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install decking and cladding according to project specifications
  • Read and interpret manufacturer installation guides, plans and drawings
  • Measure and cut materials accurately using hand and power tools
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of installations
  • Troubleshoot issues that may arise during installation and provide solutions
  • Conduct quality checks at all times to ensure high standards
  • Communicate progress and any issues/delays to the Manager
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area
  • Follow health and safety regulations at all times

About you:

  • Previous experience as a Decking or Cladding Installer is essential (minimum 3 years)
  • Valid Driving Licence
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members
