The Role – Installation and Maintenance Engineer We are currently looking for an Installation and Maintenance Engineer to support our projects department on a range of site based projects, assisting with the mechanical install through to commissioning. As our Installation and Maintenance Engineer you will work on a number of interesting and varied projects, working as part of a small but vital team. Key Responsibilities will include the following: • Assisting the on-site projects team with general assembly and mechanical install • Pipe work installations • Carrying out measuring and cutting • Following procedures and SSOW • Ensuring Health & Safety requirements are always met The Person • Full UK driving license • Sound mechanical knowledge • Able to work away/ on site when required • Experience of slinging and lifting • Telehandler/ plant experience desirable, but not essential • Preferably – IPAFs/ CSCS • Apprenticeship/ qualification in any form of engineering What we can offer you • Immediate start available • Competitive hourly rate, with overtime readily available paid at time and a half • Training and development provided for progression within the position • Life Assurance • Employee Assistant Programme • Company Health Benefit Scheme – Provided by Health Shield • Pension The Company – Wykes Engineering Ltd Based in Rushden, Northants, we are a leading-edge engineering SME specialising in the manufacture of materials processing equipment and renewable technologies.
