Provide assessment and therapy for pre-school and school age children with a wide range of speech, language and communication difficulties. Write concise notes, reports and programmes for children in order for family and education staff to support ongoing needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support initiatives within the SALT service to maintain timely waiting lists and waits for therapy intervention.
  • Engage in and be proactive in CPD activities in order to continually provide evidence based practice and intervention.
  • Support the team to continue its transformation journey to deliver an equitable and supportive service across the whole County.
  • Support own relatively large and varied caseload under supervision.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Band 6 member of staff with experience in supporting children/young people with a wide range of speech, language & communication difficulties.
  • Must be a car driver.
