About the Service

The refuge offers emergency, temporary, and safe accommodation for women escaping domestic violence. It provides emotional and practical support to help women heal and regain independence.

About the Role

We seek a Refuge Support Worker to work with women in the refuge, responding to their emotional and practical needs through one-to-one sessions, group work, collaboration with agencies, and advocacy.

About You

You should have a passion for working in the domestic violence sector, with a trauma-informed, feminist approach. Ability to build rapport, work effectively with others, listen and support women, and deliver group work are essential. You must also be able to drive and have your own vehicle.

We especially welcome applicants from Black and minoritised women, as they are under-represented in our team.
