Responsibilities
Plan and deliver the Hospitality, Conference, Live Music, and Private Events business at Eastbourne Theatres. Build and execute a first‑class event function by understanding the local events market and key clients, fostering a range of relationships, and working with colleagues to create attractive events. Act as a duty manager as required.
Qualifications
Motivated, engaging, and dynamic leader with experience in leading teams and events in a live theatre, venue, or entertainment setting. Commercially savvy, resilient, and entrepreneurial with broad sector knowledge. Energetic, proactive, results‑focused, and creative, with the ability to support the development of others through performance management, appraisal, and training. Excellent at building positive working relationships with external contacts, producers, promoters, colleagues throughout the company, and senior team members.

Position Details
- Title: Events Manager
- Location: Eastbourne Theatres
- Contract: Full Time Permanent
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Annual Leave: 33 days per annum (including public bank holidays)
- Salary: Up to £36,000 per annum (dependent on skills and experience)
