We are ambitious, for ourselves and our students, and recruit staff who relish the challenge of being part of a school that goes above and beyond. Our students are passionate about learning, motivated to succeed, and demonstrate exemplary behaviour. Art is a popular subject at Wycombe High School, with a large uptake at GCSE and A level. This year, 81% of our A level students achieved grade A*-A and many of our leavers went on to pursue Art related higher education studies. We teach a wide range of media, materials and techniques, allowing for exciting and inventive outcomes from our students. The Person

We are looking for the right person to fill this vacancy; you are looking for the right school to work in. The characteristics we are looking for include:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (or currently on a teacher training programme leading to QTS)
  • Very good practitioner, consistently rated as accomplished (or an ECT on the way to this)

  • Confident user of ICT to enhance teaching and learning

Pay & Benefits

Teachers Pay Scale M1—UPS3 (currently £32,916—£51,048 per annum). Successfully appointed candidates will automatically be enrolled into the Teachers’ Pension Scheme, into which the School pays very generous employer contributions of 28.68%.
