Start your compliance career at one of the UK's leading independent schools. Wycombe Abbey is seeking a highly organised, proactive and digitally confident Trainee Compliance Officer to join our Compliance Team. This is an outstanding opportunity for an early-career professional or recent graduate to develop hands-on skills across Health & Safety, Data Protection, Fire Safety, First Aid administration, policy management and wider governance activity.
Working closely with the Head of Compliance, you will gain broad experience and formal training, building the foundations for a career in compliance, risk, governance or school operations. No prior compliance experience is required; just strong digital skills, attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
Wycombe Abbey is a world class full-boarding school for girls, located on a beautiful site in the centre of High Wycombe. With its distinctive heritage, magnificent 170-acre campus and impressive resources, the School provides an outstanding education for 650 pupils aged 11-18. We have been at the forefront of girls' boarding education for over 125 years. Superb academic outcomes are the School's hallmark and pupils regularly secure places at the most prestigious universities across the globe. The School benefits from easy access to London (24 minutes to Marylebone), the Chiltern Hills and attractive towns such as Marlow, Henley-on-Thames and Beaconsfield. Heathrow is also just 20 miles away plus good transport links to other London airports.
While accommodation is not included with this role, applicants are welcome to express any interest during the interview. The panel will explore potential options, subject to availability.

Contract: Fixed-term contract for two years.
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, 52 weeks per year. Hours include a one-hour unpaid lunch break during each working day.
Salary: £29,000 per annum.
