We are looking for a proactive IT Support Technician to join our ICT Team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your technical skills within a supportive and collaborative environment while helping to deliver a reliable, responsive and high-quality IT service across one of the world's leading boarding schools.
Working as part of a friendly and experienced team, you will provide first-line IT support, troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues, set up and maintain devices, install and configure software, and contribute to a variety of ICT projects. No two days are the same, and you'll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of technologies while providing excellent customer service to colleagues across the School.
Whether you're resolving Helpdesk tickets, preparing equipment for new starters or supporting wider technology initiatives, you'll play a key role in ensuring our staff have the tools and support they need to work effectively.
About You
You'll have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products, strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach. Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys learning, takes pride in finding solutions and is keen to develop your career in IT.
Knowledge of networking technologies, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP would be advantageous, although attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn are equally important.
