Wycombe Abbey seeks to appoint an Art Technician to support the effective day-to-day running of a busy and vibrant Art Department. Working closely with the Head of Art, teaching staff and pupils, the Art Technician will provide technical support across a wide range of artistic disciplines, ensuring studios are well prepared, safe and fully resourced for lessons, workshops and exhibitions. The role includes supporting practical work, maintaining specialist equipment and materials, and assisting with evening and weekend studio use in a boarding school environment.

Contract: Permanent, term-time only contract. The first six months will be a probationary period.

Hours of Work: 28.5 hours per week, to be worked flexibly across Monday to Friday during Wycombe Abbey term time, plus three weeks during School holidays. Monday: 11:00am-17:30pm, Tuesday 8:45am-14:45pm, Wednesday 10:00-19:30pm, Thursday 8:45am -17:45pm and Friday 9:00am-10:30am.

Salary: £15,300- £20,700 actual salary, dependent on experience. (Based on FTE of £25,500 - £34,500)
