Wycliffe College is seeking an experienced Marketing & Communications Specialist to plan, develop, and deliver integrated marketing and communications across both the Prep and Senior Schools. The postholder will play a key role in strengthening the College’s brand, engaging prospective and current families, alumni, staff, and the wider community, and supporting pupil recruitment and retention through targeted campaigns, digital content, and event promotion.
The role includes managing the College’s social media presence, website content, and digital campaigns, as well as producing copy, photography, video, and design materials for a variety of communications. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Admissions, the postholder will implement marketing strategies, analyse performance using data and analytics, and coordinate with external agencies when required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering digital and social media campaigns to support pupil recruitment and community engagement.
- Producing content across multiple channels, including website, newsletters, prospectuses, and event communications, ensuring brand consistency.
- Supporting admissions and marketing events, open days, and other initiatives that promote the College.
The successful candidate will have substantial, demonstrable experience in marketing or communications, with strong digital expertise, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Experience in the independent school sector is desirable, as is familiarity with both Prep and Senior school environments. This role provides the opportunity to make a direct impact on the College’s profile, outreach, and engagement.
Terms of Appointment
This is a fixed-term position for eight months offered on a full-time basis. We welcome candidates to discuss hybrid and flexible working arrangements with us. Working hours are from Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.00pm with hour’s unpaid for lunch each day.
Salary: up to £40k per annum, pro rata
