The Wycliffe Medical Practice are seeking to employ an Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Clinical Practitioner, the ideal candidate being someone who is proactive, enthusiastic, and happy to work as part of a long standing established team. At Wycliffe Medical Practice, we strive to deliver high quality, patient centred healthcare and are looking for an Advanced Practitioner who shares our vision.
Main duties of the job
- Work as an autonomous practitioner as part of a multi-professional team in the delivery of high quality care to registered patients, list size is approximately 10,800 patients.
- Triage, assess and diagnose the treatment of patients requesting same day appointments or refer to GP/nursing team for further intervention or management.
- Able to manage own caseload so prescribing qualification and experience are essential.
- Act as clinical expert in direct contact care.
- Facilitates expert inter-professional care for the ill patient and their dependents by direction, supervision and example; and maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records.

The Wycliffe Medical Practice is based in a large purpose built building in the town of Lutterworth serving the Town and surrounding area. We pride ourselves on providing a friendly, patient centred service. The clinical team includes 4 partners, 6 salaried GPs, 1 ANP, 3 Nurses, 1 Nurse Associate and 3 HCAs, Senior Clinical Pharmacist via our PCN, an expanding reception and administrational team, GP Registrar Training, Medical Student Training, and high QOF achievement opportunities to develop skills. We are also part of a strong South Blady and Lutterworth PCN.
