Wycliffe College is seeking a proactive and creative Marketing & Communications Assistant to support the planning, development, and delivery of integrated marketing and communications across both the Prep and Senior Schools. The postholder will assist in strengthening the College's brand, engaging prospective and current families, alumni, staff, and the wider community, and supporting pupil recruitment and retention through targeted campaigns, digital content, and event promotion. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Admissions, the postholder will contribute to the implementation of marketing initiatives, monitor performance using data and analytics, and liaise with external agencies as required.

The role also involves assisting with the day‑to‑day management of the College's social media channels, website content, and digital marketing activity, as well as helping to create engaging content, including copy, photography, video, and design materials for a range of communications.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of digital and social media campaigns to support pupil recruitment and community engagement.
  • Create and maintain content across multiple channels, including website, newsletters, prospectuses, and event communications, ensuring brand consistency.
  • Support admissions and marketing events, open days, and other initiatives that promote the College.
Qualifications and Expectations

The successful candidate will have relevant experience in marketing, communications, or digital expertise, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Experience in the independent school sector is desirable, as is familiarity with both Prep and Senior school environments. Position Details

This is a full‑time, fixed term position for eight months, based on site. Standard working hours are 8.30am until 5pm, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week) with a 60‑minute unpaid lunch break. The role may occasionally require working evenings and weekends to support the activities of the wider Marketing and Admissions Team, for which time off in lieu will be provided. Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, pro rata (depending upon skills and experience).
