Wycliffe College are seeking to appoint an outstanding and enthusiastic Head of Senior Games to work alongside our Assistant Head (Co-Curricular), to design, deliver and oversee an ambitious and inspiring sporting provision, including the coordination of fixtures, tournaments and competitions. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the sporting experience of our pupils, promote participation and excellence, and play a key role in the continued development of sport within a thriving school community.
The successful candidate will hold a relevant degree and have experience coaching sport at both team and individual levels, alongside a proven ability to coordinate fixtures and competitive sporting programmes. They will possess excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of current sporting provision within schools, and the ability to inspire young people through energy, enthusiasm and leadership.

Terms of Appointment:
This is a permanent position offered on a full-time basis during school term time with a January 2027 start. An earlier start date may be available should a suitable candidate be found with an earlier start date.
Working an average of 44 hours per week during term time, the role requires a flexible approach to working hours in order to meet the needs of the College. The successful candidate will be expected to support Saturday afternoon sports fixtures and activities and to make a full contribution to the wider life of the College.
