Wycliffe College are seeking an inspiring and forward-thinking Assistant Head (Co-Curricular) to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of the College’s co-curricular provision from Reception to Year 13. Reporting to the Deputy Head (Pastoral), and as a key member of the Senior Management Team, the successful applicant will champion and lead a rich, balanced, and aspirational co-curricular programme encompassing sport, performing and creative arts, outdoor education, and wider enrichment opportunities.
The successful candidate will hold a degree, with a postgraduate qualification in education, leadership, or sport/arts being desirable. They will have significant leadership experience in schools across co-curricular provision, including PE and Games, and experience working with pupils aged 4–18. Strong staff management experience is essential, along with the ability to shape and deliver a coherent whole-school co-curricular vision.
The successful applicant will also be an excellent communicator, have robust organisational skills, and a strong understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, and risk management.
