Wycliffe College are seeking a highly organised and proactive administrator to join our Senior School team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality and efficient administrative support to teaching staff, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
Responsibilities include:
- Organisation and maintenance of the staff workroom
- Oversight of stationery and consumables
- Providing reception support as required
- Key part in the attendance and alerts reporting cycle, including the accurate production and timely distribution of reports to parents
The successful candidate will be a reliable and flexible team player with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain high standards of accuracy. They will ideally be educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) including English and Maths at Grade C or above and will bring experience of working in a busy office environment. Strong IT skills are essential, particularly in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
Terms of Appointment:
This is a permanent position offered on a full-time, part-year basis, working during the school's published term dates and an additional two weeks during the school holidays. During term time, the working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break. During the school holidays, working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 2:00pm. The role also requires attendance at two results days in August, for which the postholder will be able to submit a timesheet to be paid for the additional hours worked.
Salary: £21,378 per annum
