Teaching Assistant Level 3 x 2 - Required from September 2026
- 1 Permanent (33.5 hours, 39 weeks) - To work in our SEND Provisions
- 1 Temporary until August 2027 (35 hours, 39 weeks) - To provide cover across the school and nursery.
This candidate will ideally complete HLTA training whilst working as a Level 3 TA, organised through the school. Grade 4, SCP7 - SCP12, £26,403 - £28,598 per annum full time equivalent.

Sheffield South East Trust is seeking passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistants to join Wybourn Community Primary School, starting in September 2026. Key responsibilities:
- Offer support for pupils promoting independence and encourage pupils to work to the best of their ability.
- Provide short term cover for classes from nursery to Y6.
- Support pupils with SEND.
- Support class teachers in all areas to provide excellent learning opportunities for pupils.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Primary/nursery school knowledge and experience.
- GCSE Grade A-C or equivalent literacy and numeracy, alongside a relevant level 3, or equivalent qualification (or experience) is required.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A genuine passion for nurturing young minds is essential for success in this role.
