Overview

We are excited to have the opportunity for someone to join our fantastic Spa Team as a Guest Services Assistant. The successful applicant will be joining the team at Y Spa within the Wyboston Lakes Resort, Bedfordshire. You will make a difference to every guest and ensuring all our guests have a positive and memorable experience at the spa and return many times is a key part of the role.

The role covers all areas of the Spa to enrich the days through variety and upskilling. It can include:

  • Pool water tests, health and safety walk rounds, tours, clearing and organising towels and robes both clean and those needing laundering, day to day cleaning of changing rooms, thermal area and upstairs facilities.
  • Open and close of the Spa, welcome and host our guests during their time with us.
  • This role is 7 hours per week working on a Saturday with a 9pm finish time. Additional hours may also be available.

What we’re looking for in this role

  • Emergency Pool rescue duties. (training provided, but will need to be able to swim)
  • Ability to manoeuvre trollies full of towels and robes and lift in and out of delivery cages
  • Great communication skills
  • The natural urge to be helpful and be genuinely friendly
  • Someone who is reliable and able to work under pressure
  • Previous experience within a customer facing role and able to multitask
  • A smile! Someone who likes people
