This is a hands-on, high impact role for a driven and passionate Grounds & Greenkeeping Manager, who takes real pride in creating exceptional outdoor spaces. You are the champion of first impressions, shaping landscapes that inspire, impress, and perform all year round. You’ll lead from the front, combining technical expertise with energy, creativity, and a relentless eye for detail. From vibrant planting schemes to integration of robotics to seasonal transformations and keeping the golf course pristine – you’ll set the standard and motivate others to succeed it.

  • Resilient and hands-on, comfortable in making decisions and taking ownership of tasks to completion.
  • A strong communicator who can engage positively with colleagues, contractors and key stakeholders.
  • Someone who is commercially aware, understanding how quality, efficiency and cost control work hand in hand.
  • Previous experience in greenkeeping & grounds management.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • NVQ/SVQ/GMA Sports Turf Management Level 3 or higher (or equivalent).
  • Relevant experience and training certification to enable use of machinery.
  • Demonstrable leadership experience within a grounds or greenkeeping team.
  • Full UK Driving licence.
  • Understanding and competence with all regulatory compliance, including COSHH, PSSR, & LOLER.
  • Spraying certificates (PA1, PA2, PA6) for pesticide application.
  • Chainsaw certification (CS30/31) and arboriculture awareness.
