A newly formed Data company financially backed by a few of the most well known private investors in the UK & US, are looking to hire their first Director of Data Science.
The Director of Data Science will be responsible for:
- Leading all client relationships from a Data Science perspective
- Managing and growing a team of Data Science practitioners
- Working across both products and services side of the company
The business has a platform/product powered by one of the most powerful proprietary Data sets in the UK, hugely valuable to Financial Services organisations. The Director of Data Science will regularly meet with C-Suite & Board level Execs from some of the biggest Investment Banks, Insurers and other financial institutions. The Director of Data Science will also be responsible for working with large organisations from many other sectors, providing best in class Customer Data & Data Science solutions.
The Director of Data Science should have:
- A track record of influence & advisory at C-Level
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work streams at once
- Strategic outlook to develop products & services in conjunction with an experienced CTO
- Track record of securing outstanding talent and growing exceptional teams
An exciting aspect of this role is that you will work with some of the biggest names & entrepreneurs in British Business, who are investors & board members in the company. Their unique Data Sets & product set around those have convinced many of these of the long term success of the company.
The Director of Data Science will join a young company but with a proven revenue model and who are already generating good profits. Despite the current economic & social climate, the firm will receive another large funding injection in the next 3 months to facilitate a period of rapid people growth over the next 6-12 months.
