Demand for litigation expertise in the Jersey legal market is strong at present, with the leading firms experiencing high volumes of work. As one of the market leaders, our client advises on some of the largest and highest profile disputes in the jurisdiction, with matters spanning the full range of mainstream commercial litigation, insolvency and contentious banking and financial services. It is complex and interesting work with plenty of client contact and scope to get the sort of front-line responsibility that can be scarce in a larger onshore team.
Joining at a mid-senior associate level you will be encouraged to take a leadership role in matters and as these skills develop, your opportunities for progression will be excellent. All lawyers are encouraged to play an active part in client management and business development efforts making this ideal for an ambitious lawyer looking to develop their own network of contacts.

- Relocation package (flights + temporary accommodation on arrival + expenses allowance).
Process

The Channel Islands
For a city-based lawyer who thrives on big-ticket work but craves an escape from the rat race, few places compete with the Channel Islands, home to two of the world’s premier offshore financial centres. Jersey and Guernsey have strong and highly competitive legal sectors, housing teams that number many alumni of the leading London or international outfits amongst their ranks. They do complex blue-chip work, in a nice environment without the trappings of a big law firm culture. Work-life balance tends to be good, leaving plenty of time to enjoy what is an enviable coastal lifestyle and London is only an hour away making it easy to get that city fix when (or if) you need it.
Origin Legal International
