Let\'s start with the setup:

This is a genuinely hybrid role. You\'ll need to be in the Middlesbrough office at least two days a week but beyond that, how and where you work is largely up to you.

You\'ll join a specialist finance team that covers t ax, corporate risk, insurance, governance, and payroll- all part of a larger 50+ person finance function. The setup gives you both structure and support, but also the space to make your mark.

Here\'s what your day-to-day might include:

  • Preparing and submitting tax reports, forecasts, and provisions

  • Coordinating and reviewing corporate tax computations across 20+ UK entities

  • Liaising with external advisors and HMRC on complex areas like international tax and group restructures

  • Keeping up to date with tax legislation and advising stakeholders on its impact

  • Supporting wider business initiatives - from Customs projects to financial modelling


What you\'ll bring:
