Join our client's dynamic finance team as a Purchase Ledger Clerk! If you thrive in a manufacturing & production environment and have a passion for numbers, we want to hear from you! This is a permanent, part-time role (16 hours per week, which can be split over 2, 3 or 4 days).

Responsibilities:

  • Match purchase invoices to purchase orders with precision.
  • Post stock and miscellaneous purchase invoices to Sage seamlessly.
  • Liaise with the purchasing department and suppliers to resolve queries quickly.
  • Process month-end supplier payment runs and upload to HSBCnet for approval.
  • Handle ad hoc payments to suppliers throughout the month.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and USA transport spreadsheets diligently.
  • Fill out credit application forms and set up new supplier credit accounts in Sage.
  • Provide cover and assistance in other finance-related tasks as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Full driving licence is essential.
  • Previous experience in Purchase Ledger is a must.
  • Proficiency in using Sage and MS Office is required.
