Finance Manager, Intercompany & Overheads
Location: Hybrid 2 days onsite (flexible to 1 day long-term)
Contract: Until 31st December 2026 (with strong extension potential)
Hours: 37 per week Flexitime available
An exclusive opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK\’s most prestigious automotive brands in a high-impact, senior finance role.
We\’re seeking a commercially astute, fully qualified Finance Manager (ACA/ICAS) to take ownership of intercompany transactions and R&D overheads one of the largest functional budgets in the business. You ll act as the key finance contact for both internal senior stakeholders and external VW Group entities, driving financial control, transparency, and strategic decision-making at the highest level.
What you ll be doing:

Leading the end-to-end control of the intercompany and R&D overheads budgets

Acting as the main point of contact for transfer pricing and cost allocation across the VW Group

Managing budgets, forecasts, and business planning processes

Providing insight and guidance to business leaders and group finance teams

Supporting efficiency and improvement programmes across the finance function

Ensuring full compliance with audit and accounting principles

Presenting to stakeholders across Bentley, VW Group, and Audi
What we re looking for:

ACA or ICAS qualified, with 3+ years post-qualification experience

Background in audit and subsequent exposure to industry/commercial environments

Strong technical accounting knowledge and forecasting/budgeting expertise

Excellent interpersonal skills confident communicator, comfortable challenging and influencing

Able to simplify complex financial data and present clearly to senior stakeholders

SAP experience beneficial
