A trusted partner to organisations operating in the private and public sectors is seeking an Accounts Assistant. You will be joining a team of 7 and will play an integral part in the company's accounts and finance.
Founded in 2017, they have experienced exponential growth and now provide hard facilities management, repair, planned maintenance, mechanical and electrical, passive fire protection and statutory compliance services via its businesses.
You will be based full-time out of their modern Head Office located in Tamworth, close to all local amenities, transport routes and free parking. The working hours of the Accounts Assistant will be Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00. Full-time, office working. No hybrid.
The duties of the Accounts Assistant will include:
- Process supplier invoices
- Process sales invoices
- Support in recording financial transactions in our accounting system, Xero and job management software, SIMPRO
- Assist in maintaining the general ledger and reconciling accounts
- Handle general accounting administration
- Respond to finance-related queries from internal and external stakeholders
- Filing, scanning and maintaining spreadsheets for invoices and approvals
- Managing Account Inbox
We are looking for an Accounts Assistant with:
- Basic Outlook skills
- Basic Excel knowledge
- Previous experience working in an Accounts Assistant/Administration role
- Strong attention to detail and an investigative nature
- Organised and can work to deadlines
- Basic knowledge of Xero would be beneficial
- Basic knowledge of Simpro would be beneficial
- Knowledge of CIS would be beneficial but not essential
