Are you an experienced Technical Sales Representative with a strong understanding of engineering, manufacturing or industrial products? Our client is looking for a motivated and commercially focused sales professional to join their growing UK team. This is a field based role where you'll be responsible for developing new business, managing existing customer relationships and providing technical advice to help customers find the right solutions for their applications. You'll be working closely with customers and distribution partners across the UK, combining technical knowledge with strong relationship building and sales skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop sales across an allocated UK territory
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with customers and distributors
  • Provide technical advice and product recommendations based on customer requirements
  • Carry out product demonstrations, trials and customer site visits
  • Support and develop relationships with distribution partners
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer processes and product performance
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales reports
  • Monitor market activity and identify opportunities for business growth

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in technical sales is essential
  • Experience within abrasives, tooling, coatings, industrial consumables or a similar technical environment would be highly advantageous
  • Good understanding of engineering or manufacturing processes
  • Strong commercial awareness and a proven ability to develop business
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confident working independently and managing your own territory
  • Proactive, organised and solutions-focused
  • Comfortable travelling extensively across the UK
