We are looking for experienced Workshop Engineers to join our service teams at Farnham and Hemel Hempstead depots. The role requires a skilled, dependable professional who excels in a workshop environment, maintaining machinery to the highest standards and ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Candidates should have strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Investigate, diagnose and resolve customer reports of technical problems with equipment
- Service a wide variety of machines both on and off site
- Work independently to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently
- Complete job cards accurately and within given timeframes
- Complete paperwork, timesheets and parts requests promptly
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers
- Ensure compliance with relevant procedures when repairing and inspecting equipment
- Ensure work/personal equipment complies with all safety standards
- Present a professional image at all times
- Take responsibility for health and safety of self, colleagues and customers in line with company policy
- Ensure all personal tools are safe and legal to use
