Our client, a well-established manufacturing organisation, is looking for a Production Engineer to join their team in Eastbourne. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting production processes, driving continuous improvement, and assisting with new product introduction (NPI). You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to enhance efficiency, resolve manufacturing issues, and ensure high‑quality standards are maintained. This is a hands‑on role with occasional travel to client sites for meetings and project support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and oversee manufacturing processes
  • Lead and maintain 8D/RMA processes and root cause analysis activities
  • Monitor production processes to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency
  • Identify and troubleshoot production issues, implementing effective solutions
  • Develop operating instructions and equipment specifications
  • Analyse production performance and recommend improvements to cost, quality, and efficiency
  • Liaise with engineering and production teams to optimise processes and workflows
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
