Take the lead on some of the most complex and rewarding challenges in DB pensions administration. In this senior role, you’ll oversee entire schemes, handle complex cases, attend trustee meetings, present reports, and lead major projects including GMP equalisation, buy-ins, buyouts and wind-ups. You’ll also guide colleagues across the team and contribute to ongoing growth and client development.

About the role

  • Lead the administration of Defined Benefit (DB) pension schemes, including complex and technical cases.
  • Act as the main point of contact for trustees, advisers and key stakeholders.
  • Attend trustee meetings, contribute insights and present technical reports.
  • Oversee and authorise high-complexity calculations and decisions.
  • Manage and deliver large scheme-wide projects (e.g., GMP equalisation, buy-ins, buyouts, wind-ups).
  • Mentor, support and develop junior and senior colleagues.
  • Balance multiple schemes and deadlines with strong organisational control.
  • Build and maintain trusted client relationships to support business development.

About you

  • Extensive DB pensions administration experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK pensions legislation.
  • Proven trustee/adviser relationship management.
  • Experience leading scheme-wide projects.
  • Excellent organisational skills across multiple schemes.
