Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing pensions administration team. We're looking for an experienced Pensions Administration Team Leader to oversee a team of administrators delivering a first-class service across complex defined benefit pension schemes. This is an excellent opportunity for a pensions professional with strong technical knowledge and leadership experience to play a key role in service delivery, team development and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of Pension Administrators.
- Manage workloads and ensure service levels and deadlines are achieved.
- Oversee pension administration activities including retirements, transfers, leavers, deaths and member queries.
- Manage pensioner payroll processes and associated controls.
- Handle complex pension cases and provide technical guidance to the team.
- Support year-end activities, reporting requirements and audit processes.
- Drive continuous improvement, training initiatives and best practice across the function.
- Deputise for the Pensions Administration Manager when required.
About You
- Proven experience in defined benefit pension administration.
- Previous experience leading, supervising or managing a team.
- Strong payroll knowledge and experience.
- Excellent Excel, analytical and numerical skills.
- Outstanding communication and customer service abilities.
- Professional pensions qualification desirable.
