Pensions Technical Specialist
Our client is seeking a highly skilled DB Pension Specialist to join their in-house team.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the technical operational aspects of pension schemes, regulations, and industry best practices.
This role involves providing expert advice, managing complex pension calculations, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and future changes.
About the role
- Manage pension scheme documentation, including trust deeds, rules, and policies and processes.
- Monitor legislative changes and ensure compliance with pension regulations.
- Calculate pension entitlements, lump sums, and tax implications.
- Provide expert advice to employees on pension options and choices.
- Assist with pension transfers and consolidations.
- Deal with complex member queries and any issues that may arise.
- Act as a referral point for more complex technical matters.
