Joining this £multi‑billion Pension fund’s second‑line risk function you will play a key part in overseeing pensions administration risk management and control activities, supported by a flexible hybrid working model.

About the role

  • Support embedding and oversight of the pensions operations risk and control framework.
  • Lead thematic reviews on control effectiveness to identify areas for improvement and escalation of key risks or control weaknesses.
  • Support development of the Enterprise and Operational Risk Management framework.
  • Analyse and report to key stakeholders on areas of risk, contribute to Risk Forum discussions.
  • Seek opportunities through automation and AI tools to improve efficiency and insight.

About you

  • Ideally experienced in pension scheme operational risk management or audit or involved with oversight of controls for pensions administration operations e.g. AAF Reports.
  • Knowledge of risk and control frameworks and control assurance.
  • Analytical and data‑driven, producing clear and insightful risk reporting.
  • Organised, pragmatic and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • Experience with generative AI tools is advantageous.
