We’re delighted to be working in partnership with the Government Actuary’s Department (GAD) on an opportunity to join their Pensions Administration Consulting team. This specialist team advises a wide range of public service clients, supporting some of the UK’s largest pension schemes and driving more rigorous, systematic approaches to quality assurance.

You’ll provide expert, solution-focused advice to clients on pensions administration, data quality, and scheme governance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise on benefit calculations, data quality, and regulatory changes
  • Support key projects including dashboards readiness and scheme improvements
  • Deliver high-quality client work to deadlines and budgets
  • Lead projects/workstreams and manage stakeholder relationships
  • Collaborate with administrators, clients, and internal teams
  • Support business development and contribute to team growth
About You
  • Strong DB pensions administration experience
  • Good knowledge of pensions legislation (public sector desirable)
  • PMI qualification (or working towards)
  • Experience with pensions calculations and technical queries
  • Strong communication and stakeholder skills
  • Able to lead projects and support/develop junior colleagues
  • Proactive, detail-focused, and client-oriented
