We’re delighted to be working in partnership with the Government Actuary’s Department (GAD) on an opportunity to join their Pensions Administration Consulting team. This specialist team advises a wide range of public service clients, supporting some of the UK’s largest pension schemes and driving more rigorous, systematic approaches to quality assurance.
You’ll provide expert, solution-focused advice to clients on pensions administration, data quality, and scheme governance.
Key Responsibilities- Advise on benefit calculations, data quality, and regulatory changes
- Support key projects including dashboards readiness and scheme improvements
- Deliver high-quality client work to deadlines and budgets
- Lead projects/workstreams and manage stakeholder relationships
- Collaborate with administrators, clients, and internal teams
- Support business development and contribute to team growth
- Strong DB pensions administration experience
- Good knowledge of pensions legislation (public sector desirable)
- PMI qualification (or working towards)
- Experience with pensions calculations and technical queries
- Strong communication and stakeholder skills
- Able to lead projects and support/develop junior colleagues
- Proactive, detail-focused, and client-oriented
