Our client is looking for an organised and proactive HR Administrator to support our team with recruitment administration, employee records management, payroll coordination and general HR support. This is a varied role ideal for someone with previous HR administration or HR assistant experience who enjoys working in a busy environment and supporting employees and managers across the organisation.

Location: Hastings

Working pattern: Part Time - 18hrs

Rate: £16/hr

  • Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Issue offer letters, contracts and onboarding documentation
  • Carry out DBS checks, Right to Work checks and employment references
  • Maintain recruitment records and update the SharePoint recruitment tracker
  • HR Administration
    • Maintain accurate employee records and HR files
    • Monitor probation periods and Right to Work expiry dates
    • Prepare contract amendments, salary review letters and resignation documentation
    • Support managers with HR queries and employee administration
    • Ensure HR policies and documentation remain up to date
  • Payroll Support
    • Review payroll information for accuracy before submission
    • Liaise with managers and payroll provider to resolve queries
    • Authorise payroll for processing
  • General Office & Administrative Support
    • Manage HR inbox and phone messages
    • Order supplies and maintain petty cash records
    • Reconcile company card receipts and upload documentation
    • Liaise with external suppliers and service providers
    • Support staff communications, surveys and internal events
