We are recruiting on behalf of a growing and ambitious business for a Client Relations Executive (Internal Sales) to join their commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and commercially minded individual who thrives in a fast‑paced sales environment. The successful candidate will take ownership of projects within a designated geographical area, building strong client relationships, identifying opportunities, and helping drive revenue growth. Working closely with Business Development and leadership teams, you will play a key role in managing project pipelines, securing meetings, supporting proposals, and ensuring exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively follow up and manage all live projects within your designated area
  • Track project progress, identify opportunities and maintain strong pipeline visibility
  • Take ownership of pricing and profitability across live opportunities
  • Support the preparation of proposals and mock‑ups to maximise project conversion
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship management
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and key decision‑makers
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain regular client communication
  • Lead negotiations confidently, focusing on value‑led selling rather than price competition
  • Arrange and coordinate high‑quality meetings for the Business Development Manager
  • Maintain accurate CRM records including pipeline activity, project updates, and conversion tracking
  • Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Support internal meetings, administrative duties, and wider team activities where required

Skills, Experience and Training Requirements

  • Previous experience within internal sales, client relations, customer service, or business development
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of sales processes
  • Experience working within a specification or project led sales environment would be advantageous
  • Excellent IT and CRM system skills, ideally with experience using Zoho or similar platforms
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities
  • Confident negotiating and influencing stakeholders at all levels
  • Highly organised with strong time management skills
  • Persistent, motivated, and results driven approach
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Full UK driving licence required
