A L&D Consultant (AI and Data) is required for a temporary 3-month assignment in London, offering £440 per day. The role is hybrid, requiring 1–2 days per week in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design a comprehensive enterprise-wide AI and Data learning strategy aligned to organisational goals.
- Develop a multi-tier capability framework (foundation, intermediate, advanced) across all job families.
- Define learning pathways for generalist, functional, and technical audiences.
- Establish success measures, KPIs, and capability uplift milestones.
- Define organisation-wide AI and data literacy strategy, including responsible and ethical AI use.
- Build on existing initiatives to create a scalable and structured learning approach.
- Design targeted functional learning pathways across operations, HR, finance, digital, IT, and customer services.
- Recommend blended learning approaches including in-role learning, simulations, and vendor-led programmes.
- Develop strategy for technical upskilling and accreditation pathways, including apprenticeship levy opportunities.
- Identify relevant certifications and structured learning routes for specialist roles.
- Conduct future skills analysis and horizon scanning to identify emerging AI and data trends.
- Advise on external partnerships with universities, vendors, and learning providers.
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders to ensure alignment with organisational strategy and transformation priorities.
Essential Experience and Skills:
- Extensive experience in L&D strategy, organisational development, or capability building at a senior level.
- Proven experience designing enterprise-wide digital, data, or AI capability frameworks.
- Strong understanding of AI fundamentals, data literacy, and responsible AI practices.
- Experience building structured learning pathways and role-based capability models.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior leadership level.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
Desirable Experience and Skills:
- Experience with apprenticeship levy-funded programmes or accredited learning frameworks.
- Exposure to public sector or regulated environments.
- Experience working with external learning providers or academic institutions.
