Our client is seeking a Front of House Manager to lead their service team and ensure an exceptional guest experience. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily front‑of‑house operations to ensure smooth service and a consistently high guest experience.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the front‑of‑house team, ensuring excellent customer service and professional standards.
  • Manage staff scheduling, shift planning, and daily briefings to maintain adequate service coverage.
  • Maintain strong communication with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely service.
  • Handle guest enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally, ensuring quick and effective resolutions.
  • Uphold cleanliness, presentation, and atmosphere standards across all dining and reception areas.
  • Oversee reservations, table plans, and guest flow to maximise service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain compliance with licensing, health and safety, and food hygiene regulations.
  • Monitor stock levels of front‑of‑house supplies and coordinate timely ordering.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development of front‑of‑house staff.
  • Ensure POS systems, cash handling, and daily takings are completed accurately.

Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within restaurants or hospitality.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organisational abilities with a hands‑on, proactive approach.
  • Ability to stay calm and positive in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Good working knowledge of reservation systems, POS, and service software.
  • Understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and licensing requirements.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends.
