Warehouse Supervisor – Farnham, Surrey

Full-time, permanent

Responsibilities

• Support the Shift Manager in day‑to‑day warehouse operations
• Lead, structure, and motivate your team to meet productivity and throughput targets
• Allocate workloads to ensure all tasks are completed within deadlines
• Monitor performance and ensure delivery of the daily shift plan
• Manage attendance, time‑keeping, return‑to‑work interviews, and absence processes
• Carry out incident reporting, investigations, and disciplinary procedures when required
• Identify operational issues and elevate them appropriately to management
• Maintain strong communication with the Shift Manager regarding tasks and updates
• Actively promote and maintain Health & Safety compliance across the warehouse
• Deputise for the Shift Manager during absence or holidays
• Maintain a visible presence on the shop floor (80–90% of shift)
• Identify training needs and support team development
• Lead by example and uphold company standards and behaviours

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment
• Proven experience in a supervisory or team‑leader role
• Experience managing teams, including 1‑2‑1s and performance reviews
• Strong understanding of warehouse processes and best practice
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• High attention to detail
• Competent IT skills
