We are recruiting on behalf of a well‑established and growing precision engineering organisation for an experienced TIG Welder to join their team in Eastbourne. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a highly specialized manufacturing environment on complex, high‑specification engineering projects where quality, precision, and attention to detail are essential. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality TIG welding work, supporting production, and ensuring all work meets strict engineering and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out high quality TIG welding on precision components and assemblies
- Work from technical drawings and engineering specifications
- Ensure all welded components meet required quality and tolerance standards
- Carry out visual inspections and quality checks on completed work
- Support testing processes, including leak detection where required
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to meet deadlines
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment

Skills, Experience and Requirements
- Proven experience as a TIG Welder (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong experience in precision welding
- Experience working with stainless steel (highly desirable)
- High attention to detail and quality focused approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of health & safety in a manufacturing environment
- Experience within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment (desirable)
